A clearer home for the work.
Self-directed website design and build for Dorian Hartwood. A release candidate, with the writing and independent projects preserved.
The starting point
The earlier site introduced a broad writing and building practice, with several writing packages and a large article collection. It gave readers plenty to explore, but a small service team had to work out what to ask for.
The redesign gives that visitor a direct path: understand the task, inspect a working example, review a bounded offer and make an inquiry.

What changed
- One primary entry: a tightly scoped One-Workflow Sprint, with websites and dashboards quoted separately.
- A shorter homepage, clear destination pages and stable transitions from the existing writing-service URLs.
- A working weekly brief tool that calculates from editable records and keeps its sources and exceptions visible.
- Warm editorial typography, responsive layouts and an inquiry path that preserves the existing form service.
- Original writing and project destinations retained, with selected essays providing a readable way into the archive.
Direction and production
I set the direction, commercial scope and editorial priorities. AI assisted with design exploration, copy, implementation and testing. The resulting choices and remaining limitations are my responsibility.
Checks and limits
The private build is checked for responsive layout, keyboard use, note calculations, exceptions and export. Inquiry validation is tested with fictional details; that alone does not establish delivery to an inbox.
This is self-directed work, not a commissioned client project. It establishes no conversion improvement or measured time saving. Public deployment, native platform behavior and broader device testing are separate acceptance steps.
