Behind the Words
I’ve spent over a decade on the front lines of retail and food service. There, leadership isn’t a buzzword—it’s a daily test of patience, grit and empathy. I’ve led teams through chaos, burnout, transformation and growth. I’ve seen what happens when people are noticed, and what happens when they’re not. That’s where my writing begins.
Now, as a student of Environmental Policy & Management with a concentration in Energy & Sustainability, my work lives at the intersection of people, planet and power. I write with a simple but stubborn purpose: move the needle. Whether it’s unpacking raw truths about leadership, calling out systemic injustice, demystifying sustainability or reminding folks what democracy demands, I write for those who are paying attention—and for those who are just waking up.
This isn’t feel‑good fluff. It’s lived‑in storytelling for people who’ve seen enough to know better… and still give a damn.
If you’re building something real—or want to share a story that matters—drop me a line:
Publications where my writing has appeared: Medium, An Injustice!, The Environment, and The Silent Script. I was recently featured on The Silent Script for my essay “5 Brutal Truths About Mental Health and How Writing, Music and Nature Saved My Ass” (https://medium.com/the-silent-script/5-brutal-truths-about-mental-health-and-how-writing-music-and-nature-saved-my-ass-cb9842beaf8c). My work explores the threads of sustainability, leadership, human progress, personal narrative and mental health, weaving them into stories that invite reflection and action.
